The Hotel Savoy is situated in the historical heart of Prague and surrounded by numerous monuments. The most impressive is the Prague Castle, which in former times was the seat of the Bohemian kings and is now used as the seat of the President of Czech Republic. Within the Castle you can discover the astonishing St. Vitus Cathedral as well as the Strahov Monastery. The Monastry is one of the oldest in Europe and accommodates the largest privately owned library in the world.

A pleasant stroll along the Petřin hill with the breathtaking view of Prague will take you to the Lesser Town with the magnificent Baroque Church of St. Nicholas and Kampa – a charming district known as the Venice of Prague with its narrow twisting streets and romantic hideaways.

From here it is only a few minutes walk to the medieval Charles Bridge with its 30 elaborate statues. Furthermore you can discover the Old Town Square with its medieval Astronomical Clock or just linger in one of the numerous cafés.
Bustling shopping and entertainment areas that offer unique boutiques and lovely cafés can easily be reached by walking.

The Old Town square is just a stones throw from the Estates Theatre where Mozart´s legendary Don Giovanni was staged for the first time as well as the Municipal Hall that represents an extraordinary example of the Art Nouveau architecture.
