Špindlerův Mlýn is located in the highest mountain range in the Czech Republic Krkonoše (the Giant Mountains). The Giant Mountains occupy some 800 square kilometers; Sněžka is the highest peak. The mountains provide exceptionally good conditions for summer and winter relaxation. Winter sports, summer hiking and mountain biking is possible.

Špindlerův Mlýn is located at 780 meters a. s. l. below Medvědín, Kozí Hřbety and Pláň peaks. Dolský potok streams into Labe in Špindlerův Mlýn. The town integrates Bedřichov and Svatý Petr recreational and tourist resorts. Svatý Petr resort lies in a valley below luční louka. HOTEL OLYMPIE is situated in this valley.
